Resident Evil Requiem Antique Coin Guide: All 21 Locations

You will not survive the Care Center without permanently upgrading your stats, which means you need to scavenge every last Antique Coin hidden in this miserable hospital.

Resident Evil Requiem gameplay shows a blonde character with a bandaged arm holding a flickering torch, exploring a dark, eerie interior.

Playing as Grace Ashcroft in the early hours of Capcom's latest nightmare is an exercise in resource starvation. Your pockets are tiny, your health pool is pathetic, and your gun handles like a rusted staple gun. Fixing this requires cold hard currency. Specifically, you need to track down 21 Antique Coins scattered across the Rhodes Hill Care Center.

While finding these coins does not pop a specific PC achievement or console trophy on its own, spending them in the Parlor is absolutely mandatory if you plan on doing a 100% completion run. You cannot expect to tackle Insanity difficulty without the permanent upgrades these coins buy. If you are struggling to even stay alive long enough to look for shiny objects, read my Resident Evil Requiem beginners guide to get a grip on the basic survival loop.

Keep in mind that this specific routing applies to Casual and Standard difficulties. If you are playing on Insanity, the game completely scrambles the loot pool and makes regular enemies drop the coins instead. For the rest of you, here is exactly where to look.

What To Buy In The Parlor

Before you start tearing the hospital apart, you need to know what you are actually shopping for. You access the Parlor on the first floor of the West Wing after retrieving the Red Jewel from the Unicorn Trinket Box in the Chairman's Office. Inside the room, you will find four locked cabinets. There are 21 coins in the game, but you only need 17 to buy out the entire shop. Do not stress if you miss a couple.

PARLOR UPGRADE COSTS

Spend your coins wisely. I highly recommend grabbing the inventory space first before worrying about your damage output.

UPGRADE ITEM THE COST & BENEFIT
Hip Pouch 3 Coins. Adds two permanent inventory slots. Buy this first or you will be dropping ammo constantly.
Stabilizer 4 Coins. Increases your weapon damage and drastically tightens your handling.
Steroids 4 Coins. Permanently increases Grace's maximum health. Functions as a full heal upon use.
Blood Collector Manual 6 Coins. Increases your Blood Collector capacity by 50 units. Crucial for late game crafting.

Getting the Blood Collector Manual early means you can hold more infected blood to craft better gear. If your habits are a mess and your resources are always depleted, my Resident Evil Requiem crafting guide will teach you how to stop wasting chemicals.

First Floor Care Center Coins

The bottom floor of Rhodes Hill holds the majority of your early wealth. Most of these are lying around in plain sight, but a few are locked behind codes or hidden in breakable objects.

West Wing Scavenging

Your very first coin is a freebie. When you enter the Guard Office from the Central Hall, look on the desk right next to the computer keyboard. It is sitting in the Safe Room, meaning you can grab it without any undead breathing down your neck.

After you deal with your first real group of zombies, head down the corridor just north of the Filing Room. Walk all the way to the end of that hallway and check the top of the chest of drawers for your second coin.

Once you unlock the Parlor using the Red Jewel, you can grab three more coins without even leaving the room. The first is sitting squarely on the roulette table. Walk over to the bar counter in the back corner to find the next one resting in the open. For the last one in this room, smash the small wooden crate sitting on the same bar counter.

East Wing Scavenging

The East Wing is where the game starts making you work for your loot. Head into the Waiting Room on the first floor. You will immediately spot a coin on the small table directly in front of you. Walk behind the reception counter and look down at the floor. You will see an open safe that has already been ransacked, but whoever hit it left two Antique Coins inside for you to grab.

Leave the Waiting Room and head toward the nearby stairwell. Do not go up the stairs yet. Look at the small coffee table nestled between the two brown couches at the bottom of the steps for another coin. Turn around and smash the nearby decorative vase sitting on a cabinet to find one more.

Your biggest payday on the first floor is inside the Examination Room. There is a locked safe sitting in the back right corner that holds three Antique Coins. The code on Standard difficulty is Right 30, Left 10, Right 50. If you are trying to pop the No Safe is Safe achievement and need the rest of the combinations for the facility, open my Resident Evil Requiem all safe codes locations guide in another tab.

Second Floor Care Center Coins

The second floor is significantly more dangerous. You have to deal with advanced infected, including the Singer zombies that scream and disorient you. If you get caught off guard, they will rip your newly acquired health bar to shreds. Check my Resident Evil Requiem combat guide to learn the parry timings for these specific threats.

The Bar and Lounge

The Bar and Lounge area is an absolute goldmine. The first coin is resting directly on the piano keys in the center of the room.

The second coin here is held by the Singer zombie patrolling the area. She is wearing a white dress and will scream the moment she spots you. Put her down with heavy firepower, and she drops an Antique Coin directly onto the floor.

Finally, head behind the bar to find another locked safe. Spin the dial to Left 10, Right 80, Left 30 to pop the lock and claim three more Antique Coins.

The Conference Room

Navigating to the Conference Room usually triggers a pursuit from the massive Chunk boss. Evade the giant blob and slip inside the room. Look immediately to your right as you enter. There is an Antique Coin sitting on the white desk.

Just like the Bar and Lounge, this room is guarded by another Singer zombie, this time wearing a turquoise dress. Unload your revolver into her head. When she finally drops, she leaves behind your twentieth Antique Coin.

The Final Courtyard Coin

You only need 17 coins to buy the Parlor out, meaning you should already be done shopping by the time you finish the second floor. But if you missed a few and are feeling desperate, there is exactly one more coin available right as you leave the building.

To escape the Care Center, you have to solve a series of annoying locking mechanisms. If you are currently stuck trying to find the gems to open the front door, use my Resident Evil Requiem quartz puzzle box solutions guide to bypass the headache.

Once you insert the three Quartz gems into the Central Door, you step out into the Courtyard. Walk down the large rounded staircase, then immediately turn around and look under the stairs. You will see some patio chairs set up. The twenty-first and final Antique Coin is sitting on the back right armchair.

Do not walk through the Courtyard gates until you are absolutely certain you have everything you need. Leaving the Care Center grounds is a hard point of no return. You cannot backtrack to the Parlor or open any missed safes once you progress. To make sure your file is fully optimized, cross reference your progress with my Resident Evil Requiem trophy achievement guide.

Grab your upgrades, load your weapons, and get ready for the ARK laboratory. You will need every shred of that extra health and inventory space by the time you have to make the final choice with Elpis. If you want to know what fresh hell awaits you at the bottom of that lab, read my Resident Evil Requiem endings guide to see why your decisions matter.
