Starsand Island: Every Achievement and How to Unlock It
Grinding for trophies in early access games usually feels like a punishment, but Starsand Island makes the hustle weirdly addicting.
When I first booted up the game, I noticed a massive problem. The achievement list is completely vague. You get a cryptic hint, a catchy title, and absolutely zero instruction on how to actually claim your digital bragging rights. I had to decipher these conditions through sheer trial and error. Some require an absurd amount of grinding, while others are currently locked behind the early access development wall.
If you are just starting your journey, you probably want to read my Beginner's Guide first before you start worrying about full completion. Otherwise, grab a coffee and prepare to grind. I have broken down all 75 achievements by category so you can tackle them systematically.
Property and Progression
You arrive on the island with nothing and eventually own the entire map. Buying land and expanding your house will drain your wallet faster than you can blink. You will need a lot of resources to build everything, so keep my Blueprints & Ore Guide open. Make sure you upgrade your storage space early by following my Storage & Inventory Guide.
Getting around the island is a chore until you set up a transit network. Check out my Fast Travel & Mounts Guide to make this process less painful.
The Daily Grind
You are going to spend an ungodly amount of time working. Starsand Island breaks down its jobs into five ranks. Those ranks are Apprentice, Junior, Intermediate, Senior, and Expert. You have to max out every single one to get the completionist trophies.
I strongly suggest relying on my Professions & Skills Guide to optimize your daily routines. If you are struggling with specific tasks, I have you covered. Use my Farming & Crops Guide to understand crop rotations and the Fishing Locations Guide to stop wasting bait on useless casts. Exploration is a massive time sink, so reading my Moonlit Forest Walkthrough will save you hours of wandering in circles fighting random enemies.
Bribery and Social Climbing
Making friends in this game basically boils down to throwing expensive gifts at people until they like you. You will need to schmooze the entire island to knock these out. If you want to optimize your gifting so you do not bankrupt yourself buying the wrong items, read my Romance & Gifts Guide. Sometimes, cooking a specific meal is cheaper than buying a gift. You can find the best recipes in my Cooking & Recipes Guide.
There are also a few crossover characters walking around. If you are a fan of Pathea Games, my Portia & Sandrock Crossover Guide details how to interact with them and unlock their specific dialogue trees.
Hoarding and Aesthetics
This is where your inner hoarder gets to shine. Amassing furniture, clothes, and an army of pets is absolutely mandatory for completionists. Before you start trying to domesticate every wild creature you see, read up on my Pets & Animals Guide. If you are looking to breed livestock instead of keeping a zoo, the Ranching & Breeding Guide is exactly what you need.
Oh, and if you are wondering where to find the materials for all that furniture, my Honeycomb Guide covers one of the most annoying resources to track down. Holy shit, the spawn rates for those things are miserable, so you will want to know exactly where to look.
