007 First Light Guide: How to Complete All 15 Global Challenges
Unlocking the classic Agent suit requires you to prove you have mastered every single mechanic in James Bond's inventory.
While individual mission milestones award their own distinct outfits, the overarching Global Challenges track your career statistics across the entire campaign. You need to clear 15 specific milestones that monitor everything from your preferred combat style to how often you rely on your high-tech inventory. Instead of letting you endlessly repeat entire levels hoping your stats tick upward, I found the absolute fastest checkpoints to farm these requirements. If you are wondering how much time you need to set aside to fully wrap up your completionist run, you can look at my 007 First Light How Long to Beat Chapter List to help map out your tracking schedule.
The Career Milestones Directory
Before you begin hunting down specific guard patrols, it helps to see the full list of macro milestones the game tracks. The core requirements focus heavily on how cleanly you can replicate specific playstyles across the entire story mode.
Farming Combat and Style Trophies
Trying to complete all of these combat tiers purely via natural progression will take ages. Instead, you need to use specific checkpoint loops to trick the tracking systems.
Melee, Guns, and Stealth
Before you waste hours trading punches with heavily armed mercenaries who love to fill you with lead and force a checkpoint restart, load up The Laundry checkpoint from the third mission to farm your 100 melee kills. None of the workers or basic guards in this specific room carry guns, making it incredibly safe to just run around knocking people out. It turns out James Bond is an absolute menace in a laundromat. Punch everyone in the face, restart the checkpoint, and repeat.
If you are trying to clean up your 50 stealth takedowns for Shadow Tactics, head straight to Advanced Training in the second chapter. The map layout is explicitly designed to teach you basic stealth routing, meaning it is packed with isolated guards who have massive blind spots. Choke out the room, reset your save state, and loop it until the challenge clears.
When you are ready to handle your 150 gun kills for Firearms Expertise, load into the Ambush checkpoint from the fourth chapter. The game immediately throws a heavy wave of targets right into your line of sight, allowing you to quickly burn through your ammunition, stack quick kills, and restart.
Manipulation and Hacking
For Social Engineering, you have to execute 15 successful bluffs. Walk directly into any restricted trespassing zone where guards are patrolling. Intentionally let a lone guard spot you, walk up to him, and smash your interact button to bluff your way out of trouble. As soon as the interaction finishes and your focus meter jumps, immediately load your checkpoint to clear the whole process again.
Watch Expertise requires 25 environmental hacks. This practically completes itself over a normal playthrough as long as you are actively using your Q-Watch to trigger distractions.
Optimizing Gadget Progression
The remaining milestones track how often you deploy your specialized equipment. You can comfortably loop these in early missions, but the final chapter offers a massive mechanical advantage for your heavier inventory items.
Standard Deployment
For the Dart Phone, use your Q-Lens to target any distant guard and fire a basic tracking or sickness dart. Do this 15 times across your standard mission runs to clear the tier. The Laser Strap functions the exact same way. Equip it to your standard loadout from any weapon bench and fire it 15 times into environmental structures or guard helmet visors during active encounters to claim your badge.
The Final Level Exploit
When it comes to the Shockwave Camera, Flash Mines, Smoke Pods, and the destructive Missile Pen, stop trying to ration your ammunition in the early chapters. Load up the For England finale instead. During the late game facility infiltration, your watch features an upgraded infinite recharge battery. More importantly, the map lets you freely swap your active gadgets mid mission from any equipment box.
Toss your Flash Mines near groups of enemies and shoot them to quickly knock out your requirements. Drop your Smoke Pods directly at your own feet to blind mobs of ten targets simultaneously. Finally, look for structural elements highlighted by your Q-Lens during active License to Kill sequences and detonate your Missile Pen 10 times to collapse bridges and break walls. Once you finish your gadget run, you will clear out the last of the global requirements and unlock your classic Agent suit.
